Troubleshooting

Quick fixes for the most common problems. Most are solved by a refresh.

“Reconnecting…” won’t go away

Wait 10 seconds. It usually clears by itself.
Refresh the page. iPhone: tap the reload arrow in the address bar. Desktop: press F5 (Mac: ⌘R).
Check your Wi-Fi or mobile data.
Still stuck? Log out and log back in.

It says “Watching (read-only)”

You’re watching a table as a spectator. You can see the action but you aren’t playing there.

To get back to your own seat, tap Back to lobby, then open the table you’re seated at. You’ll go straight to your seat.
To play at the table you’re watching, tap JOIN NOW if a seat is open.
If your seat doesn’t appear, refresh the page.

Playing on two devices

Your account works on your phone and your computer. Your seat and chips belong to your account, not to a device.
For the smoothest play, keep the site open in one tab on one device at a time.
Switching devices? Close the tab on the old one, then refresh on the new one.
iPhone: to close Safari fully, swipe up from the bottom and pause to open the app switcher, then swipe Safari away.

Refresh or log in again

A refresh never costs you your seat or chips. You come back to the same table.
If something looks wrong after a refresh, log out from the menu and log back in.

Zoom on iPhone

The table is sized to fit your screen, so pinch-zoom is turned off.
If the page looks too big or too small, rotate your phone and back, or refresh.
Text too small? Safari: tap aA in the address bar to change the page size, then refresh.

Sound and music

Use the sound and music toggles in the game menu.
iPhone: turn off silent mode (the switch on the side) and raise the volume. Safari only plays sound after you tap the page once.
Desktop: make sure the browser tab isn’t muted (right-click the tab).
