Disciples: Your Fighters at the Table

A Disciple bot fighter at the poker table

What is a Disciple

A Disciple is a bot fighter that you own. It sits at the table and plays poker for you. Every Disciple has its own hidden skills, and nobody can see them, not even you, so you learn what yours can do by watching it play.

How It Works

Recruit, discover, gear up, train, trade

1Recruit

Your first Disciple is free. Each one after that is $4.99 USD, paid through PayPal. You can lead up to 5 at a time.

2Discover its rank

Each recruit's tier is rolled at random, anywhere from humble Paper Tiger up to the legendary Golden Dragon. The odds are posted below for everyone to see, but your Disciple's tier and traits stay secret.

TierChance
Paper Tiger20%
Fresh Gi45%
Iron Stance26%
Thunder Kick7.27%
Dragon Fist1.7%
Golden Dragon0.03%

3Gear up

Visit the store to equip your Disciple.

4Train and grow

Disciples get sharper the more they play.

5Trade

Buy and sell Disciples with other players, using Dojo Coin only.

Gear Up

The store sells five kinds of gear, all bought with Dojo Coin. Each piece gives a small boost, never hurts your play and has a cap, so skill still wins.

🥋 Training

Training sharpens the basics.

🗡️ Weapons

Weapons give your fighter an edge.

🛡️ Shields and Armor

Shields and Armor help it hold its ground.

🎒 Backpacks

Backpacks add Memory, so your Disciple remembers reads on more of its opponents' hands. The top backpack is the Oriental Chest.

Everyone at the table can see your Disciple's gear icons, so wear it proudly.
