Quick answer: Superintelligencepoker.com is a free poker training site, now open. You can play No-Limit Hold'em and Omaha games against other people, against trained poker bots, or at tables with both, at cash tables, sit & gos and tournaments. Every game uses Dojo Coin, which is play money with no cash value and can never be cashed out. Players earn belts from White to Grandmaster, check their stats, and can recruit Disciples, their own poker bots that play for them. Every table is 6-max, and the site is for players 18 and older.

The doors are open, the felt is brushed, and the bots have been stretching all week. (One of them did a full split. We didn't ask it to.)

Welcome to the dojo. Here's everything you can do here, minus the fluff, plus a little fluff.

How it works: play humans, play bots, or play both

You pick the opponent:

  • Play humans. Sit at human tables and play real people. Table chat is moderated, so keep it friendly.
  • Play our bots. Practice against trained poker bots that actually think. They don't get tired, they don't tilt, and they don't need bathroom breaks.
  • Mix it up. Cash tables, sit & gos and tournaments, all with Dojo Coin.

Every bot has its own style, and we're keeping those styles secret. Finding them out is half the fun (and most of the training).

Dojo Coin: free play money, real practice

Every game here uses Dojo Coin. It's play money with no cash value. You can't buy it and you can't cash it out. It's just for practice. You're here to get better at poker, not to gamble.

Want more coin? Invite friends. Every account has a personal invite link. When a friend signs up through it and plays 20 hands, you earn 5,000 Dojo Coin (there are daily and monthly caps, and the reward is still Dojo Coin, so still no cash value).

The games: five ways to play

Every table in the dojo is 6-max. Pick a game, learn it in five minutes, then test yourself:

1. Texas Hold'em: 2 cards, use any of them. The classic.
2. Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO): 4 cards, use exactly 2. Big draws.
3. 6-Card PLO: 6 cards, use exactly 2. Wild action.
4. Omaha Hi-Lo (PLO8): 4 cards, and the pot splits between the best high hand and the best low hand.
5. Greek Hold'em (newest!): 2 cards, and you must use both, plus exactly 3 from the board. You can never "play the board." There's one Greek Hold'em tourney every day at 10:30 PM ET, plus a 10/20 cash table.

New to all this? Start with Hold'em. When it feels easy, try PLO, then 6-Card PLO, Omaha Hi-Lo or Greek Hold'em. The rules hub has every game plus the full hand rankings.

Poker tournaments and MTTs

Like trophies? The dojo runs sit & gos and multi-table tournaments (MTTs). In tournaments everyone starts with 5,000 chips at blinds of 10/20, and the blinds go up every set number of hands. Win enough heads-up tourneys and you get a Heads-Up Champion badge on your profile. Fancy.

Poker belts: from White Belt to Grandmaster

Everyone starts as a white belt. There are 44 belt ranks: seven colored belts (White, Yellow, Orange, Green, Blue, Purple, Brown) with four stripes each, then Black belt with six degrees, then Master, then Grandmaster.

How you earn belt points:

  • Play tournament hands: 1 point per hand.
  • Finish in the money: paid places earn points, and higher finishes earn more.
  • Beat higher belts: 10 bonus points for each higher-ranked player you beat.

Only tournaments earn belt points. Cash games don't. Belts are earned, never bought. Grandmaster takes 88,862 points, so pack a snack. Bots wear belts too, and a bot's belt reflects its skill level. Full ladder: Belt ranks.

Disciples: your own AI poker bot

A Disciple is a bot fighter that you own. It sits at the table and plays poker for you. Think Tamagotchi, but it raises.

  • Recruit: your first Disciple is free. Each one after that costs 4.99 USD, paid through PayPal. You can lead up to 5 at a time.
  • Discover its rank: each recruit's tier is rolled at random, from humble Paper Tiger up to the legendary Golden Dragon. The odds are public: Paper Tiger 20%, Fresh Gi 45%, Iron Stance 26%, Thunder Kick 7.27%, Dragon Fist 1.7%, Golden Dragon 0.03%.
  • Hidden skills: every Disciple has its own hidden skills. Nobody can see them, not even you. You learn what yours can do by watching it play.
  • Gear up: the store sells five kinds of gear, all bought with Dojo Coin: Training, Weapons, Shields, Armor and Backpacks. Backpacks add Memory, so your Disciple remembers reads on more opponents' hands (the top backpack is the Oriental Chest). Every boost is small and capped, so skill still wins. And everyone at the table can see your gear icons, so wear it proudly.
  • Train and grow: Disciples get sharper the more they play.

The Disciple Market

Raised a Golden Dragon and want to sell it? On the Disciple Market, players buy and sell Disciples with each other, using Dojo Coin only. Listings run from 100 to 100,000 Dojo Coin. Still play money, still no cash value, still very satisfying.

Player stats, notes and other goodies

  • Player stats and leaderboard: public stats pages at /stats show how players are doing. Players who'd rather keep things quiet can keep their stats private. Disciples have stat pages too.
  • Player notes: take color-coded notes on opponents, human or bot.
  • Rabbit hunt: when a hand ends early, tap the 🐇 to see what would've come. (Painful. Educational.)
  • Show Cards: choose to show your cards after an uncontested win.
  • Share hands: share a hand with a link so friends can replay it.
  • Watch tables: spectate a table before you sit down.
  • Phone or computer: your account, seat and chips go with you on either device.
